Well, remember how last week we moved into a new apartment. Not anymore. We were actually in the middle of teaching a lesson, and we hear an announcement come over the intercom saying all sister missionaries please come to 19m, and drop whatever you are doing right now. At first we were super excited. A lot of the twelve apostles and first presidency are here for mission president seminar, and so were all thinking that maybe we were going to a devotional just for us.
Unfortunately, that's actually not what happened. Instead, we figured out that our residence building apparently has bats. So, they had every sister go pack up all of their things, and we have moved to an older building again. On the bright side, we are all expert packers by now. I was able to pack in ten minutes, and be out the door. If there was a competition to see who could pack the fastest, we would all have first place trophies and gold stars.
In answer to your question from before, there are actually all 6 of us in one room. It can get pretty crowded, but it's nice to get to know everybody.
We are now the senior district, isn't that so weird??? The other Cebuano district left us this week, and we now have three more Cebuano districts in our zone.
We also got to skype with some Filipinas members yesterday. They are so nice, and it makes me more excited to get out of here and to start the work.
So tomorrow I will have been here for a month at the MTC! I have loved the spirit that is always here. One of the branch presidency for our zone said that the MTC is like a temple, except we do work for the salvation of the living. That is so true.
However, I am stoked for tonight since we get our flight plans to the Philippines! In two weeks we will be heading off to the travel office at three in the morning, and head to the airport. And guess what??? I get to call you before we head off! I don't know the exact time, but I believe the flight will be at 7 am, so sometime between 5-6 am.
Thank you for your letters, they just make my day, and that portrait of the family that Meagan drew is amazing. I will be writing some more letters this week to each of you with the flight plan, there is just never enough time to email each of you individually.
Love you all,
Here are some pictures of a map, and others.
