Let's just say that missionary work is like a roller coaster. There are times that you are on the high point, and you wonder how anything can go wrong, and then, there are times that you are wondering why aren't your investigators progressing, or what you can do more.
We recently have been tracting a lot in our areas, and we haven't had much success in finding new investigators. People are either busy, or Iglesia ni Cristo, one of the most popular, if you could call it that, religions in the Philippines...
The inside of their churches are close to the temple almost. So sad how Satan can lead people away from the truth.
A couple of weeks ago we saw a kitten stuck in a moat, and we tried to help it to safety, but it just swam farther away into danger. It's the same with our investigators and less actives. We can only extend help to them, but the final decision depends on them, which can be frustrating at times, but I know that in the Lord's due time He will introduce the missionaries that will help them the most. For now, we just need patience, love, and trust in the Lord.
Until next week,
