It's hard to believe that another week has gone by already. The time is so fast.
Well, transfers were last week, and hallelujah, there is an American sister, Sister Briggs! The other sisters in Kalibo moved in to the apartment next to ours, so party all the time! (just kidding)
But, it's so nice to have my amigas close by, and we have started to do zumba in the mornings. As you know, I am not the greatest dancer, but it's a lot of fun, and people have been starting to say that I am more niwang, or skinny. So it's been paying off.
As far as the missionary work goes, it has been great to see the miracles that the Lord can accomplish to those who are willing. We have one investigators named Michael, and he has had trouble with stopping cigarette's, but he is only two sticks for this whole week.
And one of our other investigators who only visits on weekends, has been reading the Book of Mormon, and she is already in 3 Nephi, which is amazing since we only met here the month before. She isn't sure yet if she wants to be baptized, but I know when she receives her answer she will be baptized.
We just realized this week how large our area really is. We worked with a member, and she helped us to find a whole area we had not tracted before, so this week we will explore there, and I know that the Lord will help us to have success there.
Dad, for the training they have a 12 week program, where you are trained and have requirements each week. Did they have that on your mission?
I'm almost done with my training, and will soon be the leader of our area, and Sister Baclayon will transfer to another area. There are so many unknowns. Will I train someone? Will I have a follow up training? Will I stay here, or transfer? I guess I'll just wait and see.
The pictures that I sent this week are from our area, and they are worthy of being on the desktop, or even a painting. Our areas is so beautiful, so stay tuned for more. Until next week,
